Streamline your blog publishing cycle and run it entirely in Slack with this workflow template. Blog writers submit their post, reviewers approve it, and then the website admins are notified to get the post onto the website.
In the marketing team channel, a blog writer starts the process by clicking on a Shortcut.
After clicking the channel Shortcut, the blog writer is prompted to fill out a form in Slack. The form will gather information about the post, like who the intended audience for the post is and a where reviewers can go to read the draft.
The details from the form are automatically posted to a threaded message in the team channel, and reviewers are notified. The reviewers get clear Approve/Deny buttons and they can request changes or ask questions in the thread. Once they're satisfied, they click Approve. This step is powered by Wrangle.
Once approval has been given, the blog admins are notified with a follow-up message that it's their turn to take action. They are prompted to get the post out and then to share it on social media. These follow-up tasks are posted in a message in the approval thread, so everyone can follow along with progress. This step is powered by Wrangle.
