Lots of teams ask marketing for help: sales might want a specific collateral, HR may want help with a job posting, or the product team might want to advertise a new product. This workflow organizes those requests, prompts managers to approve, and then routes to someone to complete the work.
In the marketing team's channel, other teams can click on a shortcut to start the workflow to ask for help.
As soon as the shortcut is clicked, the requester is prompted with a form in Slack where they can detail their request. The form makes sure all of the important context, like timeframe and specific requirements, is gathered. You can customize this form for your team's needs.
The details from the form are automatically posted to a threaded message in the team channel, and reviewers are notified. The reviewers get clear Approve/Deny buttons and they can request changes or ask questions in the thread. Once they're satisfied, they click Approve. This step is powered by Wrangle.
Once approval has been given, you can assign members of the marketing team to do the work requested by the other team. These tasks are posted in a message into the same thread as the approval, and everyone can follow along as they are completed. This step is powered by Wrangle.
