Use Slack to gather bug requests from anyone in your company, without having to license them to use your engineering issue tracker. Instead, they can fill out details about the bug in a form and the product and engineering teams can review it in Slack.
In a product channel, other teams can come and click on a Slack Shortcut to kick off the bug report.
Next, the bug reporter is prompted with a form in Slack, which asks them for all the details of the bug (including details to reproduce it and for any screenshots that they have).
After the form is submitted, this workflow posts an approval message to a threaded message in the product channel, notifying the product team to approve that this is a valid bug. This triage step is powered by Wrangle.
Next, you can optionally assign someone to respond to the bug — either put it into the engineering backlog or jump on it now. These follow up tasks are posted to the same thread where the triage approval happened, so everyone can track progress. This step is powered by Wrangle.
