"Instead of spending time chasing each other down for information, Wrangle does the work for us, notifying the correct team member when tasks need to be done."

Stay In The Loop With Tasks In Channels

All day long, we're asking for or getting requests to do tasks in Slack. But they're too easily lost if you forget to set a reminder. So, we built Tasks β€” track work in Slack, without having to go into another app.

  • ⚑️ Task Lists are posted to, and live-updated in, a thread. Anyone in the channel can keep up with what has been completed and who is on the hook for incomplete tasks.
  • πŸ“„ See all Wrangle Tasks in one place, no matter what channel they're in. No more lost work if you don't mark as unread; no more snoozing reminders. Wrangle shows you all tasks assigned to you, no matter what channel they're in.
  • πŸ“« Task Lists notify you when everyone has completed their tasks. When every task in your checklist is done, Wrangle will automatically notify you. No more nagging in DMs to check on things.
  • πŸ’¬ Task Lists don't rely on external apps. You don't ever need to have your team leave Slack to go manage tasks, it's all contained in Slack. No more spreadsheets or heavy web apps.

Get Approvals Fast, Saved Forever

From contracts to design reviews to content publishing, our work needs sign-off. Wrangle adds a structured approval process to Slack to make them easier.

  • πŸ™‹ Approvals get explicit agreement. Reviews are iterative, so it's hard to know if people are ready to approve. With Wrangle, you pick the reviewers and we give them a clear "Approve" button to show that they're done.
  • πŸ“« Approvals notify you when everyone has signed off. Instead of going back into the channel to tediously check if everyone has reviewed, Wrangle will automatically tell you.
  • ⚑️ Approvals are posted to, and live-updated in, a thread. Anyone in the channel can keep up with who has reviewed and who hasn't, and can comment in the thread.
  • πŸ” Approvals have searchable history. Wrangle tracks everything β€” who created approvals, what they were about, and who approved β€” and all of it can be searched and reviewed.

Automate Approvals and Tasks

Wrangle integrates with Slack Workflow Builder, so you can automatically kick off Approvals and Tasks. Here's how you can use it:

  • πŸ™‹ Manage requests in channels. Structure requests in your team channel with a form. When the form is filled out, you can Β automatically assign Tasks for someone on your team, or kick off an Approval to decide whether you want to take on the request.
  • πŸ•— Recurring tasks. Workflows can trigger on a recurring schedule, so you can use them for recurring Task Lists. For example, you can assign people to fill out their weekly time sheets, or set up a daily task to do something.
  • βš™οΈ Trigger Approvals and Tasks via other apps and webhooks. Workflows can also be triggered by webhooks, so you can start Approvals or Tasks based on things happening in other apps. Your developers can also use webhooks to kick off Approvals/Tasks in Slack, like a checklist to onboard a new customer or to reach out to a new lead.

See Your Work From Every Channel

Wrangle's App Home page in Slack is your productivity hub.

  • πŸ›  See any Approval or Task you created. See whether your requests got done without nagging people.
  • πŸ™‹ See any Approval or Task assigned to you. See everything waiting on you, without having to mark things unread or snooze Slack reminders.
  • πŸ“– Click an item to open it in the Thread view on the side. Since Wrangle posts all the live info about Approvals and Tasks in threaded replies, you can click on an item to open a detailed view side-by-side with the Wrangle App Home page.
  • πŸ” Comprehensive history search. Use filters like whether the item is completed yet, whether you were the creator or an assignee, whether you've taken action on it, which channel it was in, and more. Much more powerful than searching your Slack messages.

What counts as an assignee in a workflow?

A workflow assignee is anyone assigned to Approval or Task List steps in a recurring workflow. A person can be assigned to multiple steps in a workflow, or multiple workflows, and will only count as one person in our billing system.

Like Slack, we calculate how many you had in the previous billing period to create your bill. And, if your workflow isn't used, you don't get billed for it. So if your workflows only created Approvals and Task Lists with 10 different people assigned this month, you'll only be billed for 10 even though your workflows may have assigned 15 people last month.

You are not billed for one-off Approvals and Task Lists you create, only for ones created by a workflow.

What happens to the history of past approvals or tasks after 30 days?

Wrangle has a history view that shows you all tasks and approvals you participated in, across any channel. If you are on the free plan, the history view will only show items created in the last 30 days. On paid plans, you have unlimited history.

Can I pay annually?

Yes, companies interested in paying upfront for an annual subscription will be eligible for a 20% discount.

Can you help me use Wrangle with Slack Workflow Builder?

Yes! Wrangle is a great addition to Slack Workflows, adding automated approvals and tasks steps to the built-in forms and messaging. We offer a free consulting session to help you set up Slack Workflows with Wrangle.

What information can Wrangle see in my Slack workspace?

Wrangle only asks for permission to send messages to your workspace, and only after a user starts an approval or task list. We do not have access to, or store messages or attachments from, your Slack workspace. Wrangle also asks for basic profile information to get the names and profile photos of users, which we use to show who is assigned to a task or approval.

What payment options do you support?

We accept major credit cards and charge in USD. Invoicing is available for Enterprise customers.
